What helps NFL teams move to the top of our power rankings? Quarterback play.

Is it any coincidence that teams with elite QB play like the Patriots, Colts and, yes, the Browns have been hovering at the top all season?

Take the Green Bay Packers – a team filled with young, inexperienced players on both sides of the ball and issues at running back. With quarterback Brett Favre still firing bullets from the pocket to the endzone, oddsmakers have had trouble grasping the Pack's potential all season. They've had a steady rise up our rankings with only one loss against the spread all year.

That's something to keep an eye on as we get deeper into the second half and teams become tougher to bet on against the spread – hot QB, usually means hot wager.
