The last time Detroit and Chicago met up it was an epic battle that ended with the Lions dropping 34 points in the fourth en route to a 37-27 victory. But that was in Detroit, can the same thing happen at Soldier Field in Chicago? The Bears definitely don't think so.

"Detroit don't come into Chicago and win in our stadium," Bears tackle Tommy Harris said.

Chicago is looking to keep their hopes of returning to the Super Bowl alive with their second-consecutive victory. Last week starting QB Brian Griese knocked off the Eagles with a 97-yard TD drive with 1:52 remaining in the fourth. His clutch play may have saved the Bears' up-and-down season.

"The key to us going forward is how do we build on what we did … and become a better football team going forward," Griese told the team's official Web site.

The Lions are looking to improve to 5-2, trying to make good on Jon Kitna's prediction of a 10-6 record by season's end. They looked good last weekend, using a steady ground attack to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-16 as -2.5 favorites.

"We have the pieces to win," said Kitna, he had 247 passing yards with two TDs in his last meeting with the Bears. "We just had to put it altogether."

The Bears are five-point favorites in the contest. Get your NFL odds in the Bodog Sportsbook!
