How on earth can the Chicago Bears get destroyed 45-10 last week by the Cincinnati Bengals and get listed as double-digit favorites in NFL betting action this week?
The answer is simple: They are playing the Cleveland Browns.
Oddsmakers have the Bears pegged as 14-point favorites on Sunday.
The Browns lost to Green Bay 31-3 as 9-point underdogs in Week 7. Derek Anderson passed for 99 yards with a interception for Cleveland and Jamal Lewis rushed for 47 yards on five carries.
The defense for the Browns against the Packers was utterly atrocious, allowing Rogers to throw for 246 yards with three touchdowns.
In the loss to the Bengals, Jay Cutler passed for 251 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions for Chicago, while Devin Hester caught eight passes for 101 yards and a TD.
The Bears are 3-3 straight up and 3-3 against the spread.
