With plenty of season left to go, the Jacksonville Jaguars are away against the New York Jets, who are trying to win their fifth game and get back into the AFC East race.

NFL football betting odds have the Jets favored by 7 points, and they have covered the spread in eight straight following a bye week.

Neither team has really been able to establish itself offensively, routinely winning games by fewer than seven points. The Jaguars followed that trend last week in beating the Kansas City Chiefs at home, 24-21.

After their bye week the Jets are taking the full two weeks to reflect on a five-point loss to the Miami Dolphins. A win Sunday would help, but a loss would be potential disaster.
