It is pretty fair to say the Kansas City Chiefs are having a rough season. On Sunday the underdog Chiefs (1-5, 2-4 ATS), featuring a third-string quarterback, an inactive starting running back, and the second-worst rated defense in the NFL, must deal with Brett Favre and the New York Jets. Tyler Thigpen will get the start on Sunday for the Chiefs. He completed 14 of 36 passes for 128 yards with a touchdown, but also threw three interceptions in a 38-14 loss to Atlanta earlier this season. Thigpen won't even have the luxury of handing off to Larry Johnson, who has been deactivated for the second straight week.
The Jets are heavy 13-point faves in this one. Thomas Jones is coming off a 159-yard performance and could have a big day against a Kansas City defense that allowed Tennessee to rush for over 300 yards last week.
