• Bears LB Urlacher has surgery on neck.

  The Chicago Tribune reports Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher had surgery on his lower neck after complaining of an artritic back. Urlacher, however, is expected to be ready for training camp.

• Broncos WR Javon Walker likely will be cut. The Denver Post is reporting the Broncos haven't spoken to Javon Walker since the end of the season. They expect Denver to trade or cut him within a month.
• Bengals WR Chad Johnson shovers reporter.According to FoxSports.com's Alex Marvez, Chad Johnson NFL media relations employee Michael Lipman when pressed about his situation in Cincinnati.
• Bears WR Berrian to hit free agent market.According the NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, the Chicago Bears do not plan to place the franchise tag on Bernard Berrian and will likely allow him to hit free agency.
