NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting running back prospect Jonathan Stewart has undergone surgery on his big toe, which will sideline him for 4-6 months.
Stewart, a running back from Oregon, was considered a first-round pick when he ran a sub-4.5 40 despite weighing over 230 pounds.
Because of the injury Stewart will likely miss pre-camp workouts for whichever team decides to draft him. It could cause him to drop out of the first round as well.
