The sentence has come in for Michael Vick's part in a dogfighting conspiracy. The Atlanta Falcons QB has been sentenced to 23 months in prison.

"This is a difficult day for Michael's family and for a lot of us, including many of our players and fans who have been emotionally invested in Michael over the years," Falcons owner Arthur Blank said. Vick could've been sentenced for up to five years by U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson.

Vick pleaded guilty in August and admitted to funding "Bad Newz Kennels", killing six to eight dogs, and providing money for bets of dog fights.

Vick can have his sentence reduced by three months for good behavior.
