On Saturday night the Indianapolis Colts, winners of nine straight games, and the slightly favored San Diego Chargers, which have won four in a row, meet for the second consecutive year in the playoffs and for the second time this season.
San Diego's offense, led by Philip Rivers, was 10th in the NFL with 358.4 yards per game. Rivers was fifth with 4,009 yards and tied New Orleans' Drew Brees for the most touchdown passes with a franchise-record 34. Rivers now faces a Colts defense that's allowed just six touchdown passes all season.
On Sunday the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens meet as Miami looks to avoid another postseason exit at the hands of Baltimore.
The 3.5-point favored Ravens won five of their final six games of the season but they have lost their last three playoff games since winning at Miami in the 2002 Wildcard game.
