It just seems right that it comes down to the Cowboys versus the Eagles with a playoff spot on the line in the final week of the season. (AI Wire Images)

If Dallas can knock off their old rivals they’re in the postseason. The Eagles need a win and some help to claim the final Wild Card spot in the NFC.

The Cowboys made this weekend’s game a must-win after they blew it against Baltimore last week in a 33-24 loss. Dallas’ defense might as well have been on the sidelines late in the game, as they gave up a 77-yard touchdown run to Willis McGahee and an 82-yard TD scamper to Le’Ron McClain. Philly didn’t do themselves any favors last week either, losing to Washington 10-3.

In Week 2 Dallas and Philadelphia met up on Monday night in a wild game that the Cowboys won 41-37. That game had a little bit of everything. Brian Westbrook had three touchdowns. Tony Romo had three touchdowns. Felix Jones ran back a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown. And don’t forget about DeSean Jackson dropping the ball on the one on his way into the end zone. The Eagles are a 1.5-point home favorite in the rematch.
