Carolina 2-0? Minnesota 0-2? The Vikings were thought to be a legit Super Bowl contender, but have not started the season well, losing to rival Green Bay and to Indy last week. Carolina has started the season on fire, upsetting San Diego in their opening game and coming from behind to beat the Bears last weekend.

Even though this is the beginning of the season, it is becoming apparent that Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson is not a true NFL starter. He has to perform well in this game, or he may get benched.

Panthers QB Jake Delhomme has come back from surgery and looks like the QB that guided Carolina to the Super Bowl a few years back.

The Vikings rank 20th on defense and are especially weak against the pass, as they are giving up over 237 yards per game through the air.

The Vikings need to win this game or their season may be in major jeopardy.
