Detroit retooled their D in the offseason, going with a quicker line to put more pressure on the QB and to stop the run. However, so far the Lions’ D has given up the most points in the league and they are 0-2.
The 49ers won a big game at Seattle last week, and QB J.T. O’Sullivan has played well and is the 12th rated QB in the NFL.
The Lions’ passing offense is legit, but their running game has been terrible, only averaging 55.5 yards per game, which is the third-lowest in the league.
The 49ers can go 2-1 with the win and keep pace with the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West.
