The Green Bay Packers are not sure if they will have their starting quarterback as they head into a Week 5 date with the Atlanta Falcons.
Aaron Rodgers, who sprained his shoulder in a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, intends to play on Sunday but nothing will be for sure until practice ends on Wednesday. Rookie backup Matt Flynn is ready to start if needed.
The Packers have dropped two straight (both against the spread) and need to take care of business at home against the 2-2 Falcons.
Atlanta is coming off a 24-9 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 4. Michael Turner, who was the league’s leading rusher going into Sunday, only had 56 yards on 18 carries.
Can he bounce back against a Green Bay defense that is ranked 26th in the league against the rush?
