NFL Week 5 Odds: Minnesota at New Orleans

But before you put too much stock in that streak, remember Drew Brees is on fire. Going into Week 5 he is the NFL’s third-highest rated passer, and the Saints are averaging a league-best 327.3 passing yards per game.

The Vikings are trying to create some offensive balance so the load does not all fall on Adrian Peterson. Peterson ranks second in the NFL with 420 yards and will be looking to bust out after being held under 100 yards in two straight games.

Is coach Brad Childress’ play-calling the issue in Minnesota, or is the offense terrible because it only has one weapon in Peterson?

That trend also includes six of the last seven matchups between the teams, which could leave bettors questioning the 3.5-point spread in favor of the Saints. Who will you put your money on? Get your NFL betting in the Bodog Sportsbook now.
