They are coming off a 34-7 rout of the Lions where they held Detroit to just 185 yards, the defense’s best effort in nearly two years.
Now the NFL's fourth-ranked rushing defense will focus on RB Michael Turner and the Atlanta Falcons’ running game, which is ranked second overall. Turner ran for 121 yards on 26 carries and scored one rushing touchdown in a 27-24 win over Green Bay. He now has six rushing touchdowns this season.
Scoring points won't be as easy for the Bears this week, but the Atlanta D is not exactly shutting teams down.
If Kyle Orton, who threw for a career-high 334 yards on Sunday, can go another game without a turnover the Bears stand a good chance of leaving Atlanta with a victory.
