NFL Week 6 Picks: Jacksonville at Denver

One thing the Denver Broncos (4-1, 1-3-1 ATS) have not had problems with this season is piling up the yards on offense (ranked first in the AFC). (AP Images)

What they need to continue improving on is stopping teams on the other side of the ball. Hoping their previously struggling D has turned a corner, the Broncos will try to improve to 4-0 at home when they face the underdog Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The Broncos are 29th in the league in total defense but after a 16-13 win over the Buccaneers last week there is reason for optimism.

If you are a backer of the Jaguars (1-4 ATS) you are used to close outcomes. All five of Jacksonville's games this season have been decided by a touchdown or less.

If the Jags can't pull of the upset Sunday, they would fall 3 1/2 games behind idle Tennessee in the AFC South. Bet on the NFL in the Bodog Sportsbook.
