NFL Week 6 Picks: Oakland at New Orleans

Mistakes tend to come back to hurt a team and that is exactly what is happening to the New Orleans Saints. (AP Images)

The Saints lost 30-27 to the Vikings on Monday night thanks in large part to the 11 penalties against them that led to 102 yards. Kicker Martin Gramatica missing two field goals from 46 yards out did not help either.

This week the Saints host the Oakland Raiders (1-3), who are coming off a bye week. It will be Tom Cable's first game as head coach of the Raiders, and he thankfully had some extra time to prepare for the Saints.

If Saints coach Sean Payton can finally get through to his team about the costly mistakes, New Orleans should get back on track this week. QB Drew Brees is having too good of a season to let it go to waste.
