The Washington Redskins are proving many people wrong this season by challenging for top spot in the tough NFC East. Sure it is still early but wins over the Eagles and Cowboys have put everyone on notice that Washington is for real.

The Redskins (4-1, 4-1 ATS) will try for a fifth straight win Sunday and look to avoid a letdown when they host the winless St. Louis Rams, who will be playing their first game under new coach Jim Haslett.

It will be easy for the Redskins (14-point favorites) to overlook a team that ranks 30th in total offensive yards and has scored the fewest points in the NFL, but this is the exact type of game that can sneak up and derail a big season.

The Redskins have won six of their last eight meetings with the Rams, and Sunday should be number seven.
