The big question heading into this Sunday's matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers will be the status of Trent Edwards.

The news remained status quo on Monday, meaning his condition will not be updated publicly until at least Wednesday.

NFL Week 7 odds have not been set yet as oddsmakers wait to see if the Bills QB will go or not.

Edwards suffered a concussion in the second quarter of Buffalo's 16-13 victory over the Jets in Week 6.

He was replaced by backup Ryan Fitzpatrick, who helped lead Buffalo back from a 13-3 halftime deficit.

With Edwards hurt, the Bills may have an opportunity to sit him down and give Fitzpatrick the start in Charlotte, N.C., for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

The Panthers are hoping to get Steve Smith more involved in their offense. Smith has 21 catches for 259 yards and no touchdowns this season.
