Backers will get a better idea this week when the Browns try to knock off another tough NFC East team, the Washington Redskins.

The Browns enter this one as 7.5-point underdogs, although they are 13-3 ATS vs. teams with a winning record.

The Redskins are coming off a shocking 19-17 loss to the St. Louis Rams where the offense committed its first three turnovers of the season. Washington will be ready to play and won't be taking the Browns lightly this week. Clinton Portis has run for over 100 yards in each of his last three games and leads the NFL in rushing.

The Browns have dominated the series with the Redskins, leading 33-9-1, but that is misleading since the teams haven't met since 2004 and only twice in the past 17 years.
