So far this season Chicago's three losses are by a total of eight points. Sunday's 22-20 loss to the Falcons was just the latest in three losses in five weeks where the Bears had a chance to win.

The good news for the 3-point favored Bears is that they are at home against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday and have a chance to move into sole possession of first place in the NFC North.

The Vikings avoided an embarrassing loss to the Lions on Sunday and backers at the game were letting their feelings be known as they chanted for coach Childress to be fired. Minnesota had trouble getting anything going against a Lions defense that was ranked last in the NFL. Now they have to play a Bears team that ranks seventh overall in points allowed.
