NFL Week 7 Picks: Detroit at Houston

In one of the less glamorous games on the board Sunday, the Houston Texans look to build on their first victory of the year when they host the winless Detroit Lions. (AP Images)

The Texans (1-4, 1-4 ATS) may not be as bad as they look thanks to a brutal early schedule where the club lost its first four games against teams that are currently a combined 15-6.

The Lions, on the other hand, are as bad as they look and maybe even worse. Already in danger of its first 0-6 start since it lost its first 12 games in 2001, Detroitplaced QB Jon Kitna on injured reserve with a back injury, ending his season, and then traded Pro Bowl receiver Roy Williams to Dallas. That won't help a team that is 30th in the league in total yards per game and 24th through the air. Place your NFL bets with Bodog Sportsbook now.
