On Sunday Brett Favre will try to lead the 3-point favored New York Jets to a third straight victory (SU and ATS) and fourth in a row overall against the Oakland Raiders. The Jets QB is a perfect 4-0 with 11 TDs and four interceptions all-time against Oakland.

Add in the fact that Thomas Jones recorded a career-high three touchdowns last week for a Jets offense that ranks fifth in the NFL averaging 28.2 points per game and 37.0 in the last three contests, and the Jets look like a great play.

The Raiders lost 34-3 at New Orleans last Sunday, spoiling Tom Cable's debut as interim coach. Oakland has to find a way to jump-start a sagging offense that ranks 26th in the NFL. One positive is they do have the AFC’s top-ranked rushing attack, which will go against New York’s 27th-ranked rush defense.
