The New York Giants (4-1, 3-2 ATS) finally lost a game and saw their eight game winning streak, including postseason, and 12 consecutive wins away from home come to an end on Monday.
The good news for the Giants and their backers is they have the luxury of facing a struggling team as they try to hand the San Francisco 49ers a fourth straight loss this week.
Despite the upset loss, the Giants still lead the NFL in total yards and rushing yards per game. Those numbers could prove to be a mismatch against a 49ers defensive unit that ranks 26th in the NFL.
If the 49ers (10.5-point underdogs) hope to have any chance at an upset they will need better accuracy from their starting QB. J.T. O'Sullivan has thrown seven interceptions during the three-game losing streak after throwing only one in the first three games. Get all your NFL odds in the Bodog Sportsbook now.
