The Wild (+2500 to win the Cup) made a few moves during the offseason to try and bolster their offense and so far it is paying off with all four new players getting points on Saturday.

The Thrashers are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss at Florida after opening the year with a seven-goal explosion against the Caps. Ilya Kovalchuk is still seeking his first goal of the season after finishing second in the league with 52 goals in 2007-08.

The Wild are 5-1 in the last six meetings between the clubs although the Thrashers won the lone meeting last season 3-2 in a shootout. Goalie Kari Lehtonen only has one career start against the Wild, making 30 saves in a 5-1 loss. Get all your NHL odds in the Bodog Sportsbook now.
