It also means there are still plenty of games to watch before the season is over.

The Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks are already underway.

Dan Cleary matched a playoff career high with two goals on Sunday leading the Red Wings to a 5-2 win over the Blackhawks in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.

Game 2 is Tuesday night in Detroit. Then the series moves to Chicago for Game 3 on Friday night and Game 4 on Sunday afternoon.

The Carolina Hurricanes and Pittsburgh Penguins fire up their series tonight in Pittsburgh.

Game 2 will be played on Thursday before the series switches to Carolina for Games 3 and 4. These games will be played on Saturday, and Tuesday of next week.

The Pens are listed as -190 favorites to knock off the Hurricanes in the series. Get your NHL odds in the Bodog Sportsbook today.
