The New Jersey Devils will try to make it three wins in a row tonight when they face the Pittsburgh Penguins, which happens to be the only team to beat New Jersey since Nov.15.

When Martin Brodeur was put on the shelf for three to four months with a torn left biceps, the Devils appeared to be dead in the water in the stacked Atlantic Division. Then they went 1-5-0 in their first six games without the future Hall of Famer.

Since then, though, the Devils have been one of the NHL's hottest teams, going 7-1-0 in their last eight games. Scott Clemmensen has filled in nicely for Brodeur and is 5-1-0 with a 1.96 goals-against average in six starts since Nov. 20.

The Penguins are 5-0-1 in their last six games at New Jersey.
