New York Rangers
Hockey fans are in for a treat Wednesday night: an Original Six battle between the 22-10-6 Montreal Canadiens (14-24 ATS, minus-3.31 units) and the 24-14-3 New York Rangers (16-25 ATS, minus-5.25 units). (AI Wire Images)

The Rangers are up a point on Montreal in the standings, but the Habs have three games in hand, as well as a better goal differential at +15 on the season to +3 for the Blueshirts.

Montreal is on a 6-1-1 run, fueled by the return of No. 1 netminder Carey Price (.921 save percentage) following a lower-body injury. But Price is back in the infirmary – although reportedly not with mono as rumors suggest – leaving Jaroslav Halak (.908 SV%) in the crease against the Rangers.

The Habs are also missing Saku Koivu (ankle), Alex Tanguay (shoulder) and Christopher Higgins (shoulder), among others. New York has no major injuries of note heading into Wednesday’s tilt at MSG.
