Nashville has gone 1-3-0 in their last four games to drop into ninth place with only two games remaining.

The Red Wings also need some luck if they have any chance at catching San Jose for the best record in the West. They are six points behind the Sharks with three games remaining.

Detroit has improved its play recently, winning two straight after losing four of five. It is coming off a 3-1 win at Buffalo on Monday.

Marian Hossa has five points in the last two wins after tallying one goal and an assist during the previous five games.

The home team is 20-8 in the last 28 meetings between these clubs, while the over is 4-0 in the last four meetings. Get your NHL odds in the Bodog Sportsbook!
