Petr Sykora scored a pair of goals for Pittsburgh, but that was the lone bright spot as the Pens were blown out 7-3. Marc-Andre Fleury made only his second start since returning from a month off with a groin injury, but he only lasted two periods after allowing five goals on 33 shots. Backup goalie Dany Sabourin wasn’t much better in the third, giving up two goals on only seven shots.

The Lightning are in the Southeast Division basement and will likely stay there. Tampa Bay has lost their last three games and have only recorded one win in their last 13 games. During their three-game slide the Lightning have been outscored 8-4, and in their last 13 games their offense has been pathetic while getting outscored 47-29.

The Lightning and Penguins are meeting up for the first time this season, but last season Pittsburgh took three of four from the Lightning. Get your NHL odds in the Bodog Sportsbook.
