Alexander Ovechkin returns to the Washington Capitals lineup tonight after missing two games as his team tries to win its fifth straight over the Ottawa Senators.

Ovechkin, who has two goals and three assists in eight games, has had great success against the Sens in his career. He has a nine-game point streak against them and has recorded 10 goals and nine assists in 12 career games against Ottawa. Last season the Caps superstar had six goals and four assists as Washington swept the four-game series with the Senators.

Ottawa returns home after a 2-1-1 road trip. The Senators failed to win their third straight Saturday, falling 3-2 in a shootout to Tampa Bay. Dany Heatley has a goal in each of his last three games and leads the Senators with 13 points. He has seven goals and 20 assists in 24 games against the Capitals.
