Down 2-0 in their Western Conference quarterfinal series because they couldn't protect leads in Chicago, the Calgary Flames know it could be a long summer if they don't bounce back quick against the Blackhawks.
The Flames, set for Game 3 tonight, squandered a two-goal lead in Game 2 after Chicago came from behind to win Game 1 in overtime.
The Flames have never won a playoff series trailing 0-2. Teams holding a two-game lead in NHL playoff series have won 87.3 percent of them in league history.
Calgary is facing the youngest team in the NHL and they need their older and more experienced players to lead them if they have any shot at a comeback.
For Chicago, winning both games in Calgary isn’t beyond the realm of possibility considering that they swept the Flames in four regular-season meetings and are 5-0 in the last five meetings in Calgary. For all your NHL betting head over to the Bodog Sportsbook.
