Both the Ottawa Senators and New York Rangers are used to being among the elite teams in the Eastern Conference. Both are also used to the heavy scrutiny from backers when they fail to deliver. Once again the Rangers (+1200) and Senators (+1600) head into the preseason with Stanley Cup aspirations, and once again there is a great deal of pressure to succeed.
The two teams will open up the regular season in two weeks with a pair of games in Europe, but for now they are hitting the ice tonight in the second of back-to-back preseason games.
Dany Heatley, Jason Spezza, and Mike Fisher each scored to lead the Sens to a 3-2 win on Saturday, so the boys in blue will have revenge on their minds tonight at MSG.
All Star goalie Henrik Lundqvist had that night off for New York, and if he gets the start tonight it will certainly swing the odds in the home team's favor. Get all your NHL Hockey Odds in the Bodog Sportsbook!
