Riding high after grabbing the No. 1 spot from Memphis the Tennessee Volunteers have another huge task ahead as they face division rival Vanderbilt at Vanderbilt.
"I'm not concerned with the ranking other than it makes the prize even bigger for Vanderbilt or any other team that will play us," Vols coach Bruce Pearl said.
The Vols have won 20 of their last 21 contest and have gone 7-3 against the spread in their last 10. However, they're facing a Vandy team that's 17-0 at home and are looking for revenge after being blown out 80-60 at the hands of the Vols on Jan. 17, 2008.
"Of course, we know we're going to get everybody's best shot," Volunteers guard Raymar Smith said. "We've got to take it and deliver and step up. That's really what it's all about right now."
Oddsmakers aren't taking the Commodores lightly either, they've opened the No. 1 Volunteers as just -2.5 favorites in the Bodog Sportsbook.
