With back-to-back rounds of four under par on a difficult Oakland Hills course in Bloomfield Township, Michigan, Padraig Harrington secured top honors in the PGA Championship.

With the stellar weekend, Harrington leapfrogged all of the first two day's contenders en route to the win.

After the second round Harrington had sat at five over par, but bounced back enough to both redeem himself and steal the crown.

In second place on the weekend were Sergio Garcia and American Ben Curtis. The pair finished the weekend one under par.

The highlight of the day however has to belong to Fredrik Jacobson who aced a 13th hole par three.

The best round of the tournament Argentinean Andres Romero who used a five under day three to jump into contention.
