Panthers Squeak by West Virginia 55-54

Pittsburgh had their second-worst offensive output of the season but were still able to squeak by West Virginia 55-54.
Despite the loss the Mountaineers were still able to cover the +3.5 pointspread.
Both teams struggled from the field the entire contest, the Panthers were just 40 percent from the field while the Mountaineers were just 35.8.
The best output fror the Panthers came from Dejuan Blair. The 6-7 forward had just seven points but also grabbed 12 rebounds in the contest.
Guard Darris Nichols led West Virgnia with 16 points.
The Panthers have been in low scoring contests lately, Thursday's game was their fourth game in six that's gone under the total.
