Unranked Pittsburgh took down the University of South Florida on Saturday in the first upset of the weekend's schedule.

With the win, the Panthers take their second victory over a top-10 team in as many tries, their last coming at the hands of then-No. 2-ranked West Virginia.

In Saturday's bout the Panthers struck early, taking a 17-7 lead into the half, from there the club managed to hold on for a 26-21 victory.

Pittsburgh sophmore LeSean McCoy ran in two touchdowns on the contest.

Elsewhere on the college football schedule, the Oklahoma Sooners dismantled Baylor 49-17 while Florida and Penn State each enjoyed lopsided victories over their opponents.
