As you can see by the above video, the Houston-Marshall game last night saw Patrick Edwards suffer a devastating leg injury.

While going for an overthrown touchdown pass from Blake Joseph, Patrick Edwards slammed his leg into a ridiculously located equipment cart. The crash resulted in a grisly compound fracture for Edwards.

Now rumors are flowing on the possiblity that Edwards might sue because of the poorly placed cart.

David Maggard, the Houston Athletic Director, has stated that would be following up on the matter with Marshall officials.

"It was duly noted, and I think we'll save the conversation for another day," Maggard said in a statement to the Houston Chronicle.
