It's kick off time in the NFL, as teams prepare for their Week 8 match ups and on the early slate is a New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams battle in Foxboro.

The 4-2 Pats will continue to ride replacement quarterback Matt Cassel to surprising success while the Rams hope to get one step closer to .500.

Also kicking off at 1:00 p.m. (EST) are the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Washington Redskins try their luck against the Detroit Lions and Brett Favre will hope to lead his New York Jets past Kansas City.

The late games will feature the reigning Superbowl champion New York Giants in a bout with Pittsburgh, as well as a Seahawks/49ers tilt in California.
