The field is set and things are just about to kick off at Torrey Pines GC in La Jolla, California. The tournament, which is the yearly home to the Buick Invitational, is one of the most unique golf courses in America. Like Bethpage Black on Long Island, Torrey Pines ensures that public access to the course is still available even though it's widely regarded as one of the finest tracks on the PGA Tour.

On weekends, the public will arrive as early as 6 p.m. Friday night to get in line for the first come/ first serve tee times that are given out.

Of course, none of the big players this weekend will have to worry about lining up. This includes tournament favorite Tiger Woods, who at 5/2 is the heavy to win the 2008 U.S. Open. Following Woods is playing partner Phil Mickelson, who at 7/1 appears primed to make a run at the crown.

All the rest of the 2008 U.S. Open odds are available in the Bodog Sportsbook now. Get in on the action!
