Everybody in Motown can breathe a little easier tonight. The Detroit Pistons look like they're back to normal.

After a stunning Game 1 loss at home to seventh-seeded Philadelphia, the Pistons rode a strong performance from Richard Hamilton (20 points, seven rebounds and seven assists) to defeat the 76ers 105-88 in Wednesday night playoff action.

The Pistons raced out to a 17-point halftime lead and cruised the rest of the way. One of the big keys for Detroit was shutting down Philly's Andre Igoudala, who went for 16 points in the opener. The Pistons did just that on Wednesday, holding the explosive Igoudala to just four points on 1-of-9 shooting.

The Pistons came into this contest as 10.5-point home favorites and covered the rather large spread with ease. The final score also went over the posted total of 179 points listed in the Bodog Sportsbook prior to tipoff.
