At the Roland Garros stadium on Sunday morning, Rafael Nadal steamrolled through number one-ranked Roger Federer en route to claiming his fourth consecutive French Open title.

The win, that came in such a convincing fashion that it spoiled the usually calm demeanor of the 26-year-old Federer, puts Nadal on a level of French Open supremacy with only Bjorn Bork who won the contest repeatedly between 1978 and 1981.

Nadal made quick work of the Swiss this morning, contributing a 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 victory to their already storied rivalry. Early in the match Nadal hammered off a sweep of six consecutive games before closing the game with a sweep of nine more.

Simply put, Nadal made short work of tennis' greatest player, becoming the first since Bork (again) to win the final without giving up a set.

The loss is Federer's fourth in this same match, and denies him, yet again, the opportunity for a career Grand Slam.
