He's no longer "Dancing With the Stars" - now he's dancing with the 'Skins.
That's the news out of Washington today as club officials have confirmed that the Redskins have obtained stalwart DE Jason Taylor from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a second round pick in 2009 and a sixth-round pick in 2010.
Taylor is a six-time Pro Bowler and won the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2006. Despite all his on-field accolades, he might best be remembered as the guy who finished as the runner-up in the last season of Dancing With the Stars.
Taylor will fill the hole left by a knee injury to Daniels, who was hurt in a training camp practice session on Sunday. Daniels' backup, Alex Buzbee, had suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon on the first day of training camp will also miss the season.
How will the addition of a star DE like Taylor help the Redskins this season? Right now, you can get Washington at 40/1 to win the 2009 Super Bowl. Check out this and more NFL football futures betting in the Bodog Sportsbook!
