Five-time lawn champ Roger Federer kicked off Wimbledon 2008 in style, winning a convincing three-set sweep over Slovakian Dominik Hrbaty in the opening round on Monday.

Federer, who is looking for his sixth straight Wimbledon championship, breezed through with a 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 that lasted just one hour, 19 minutes. The No. 1 ranked Federer was not alone as a top seed to advance through round one - No. 29 Andreas Seppi, No. 21 Juan Carlos Ferrero, No. 10 Marcos Baghdatis and No. 31 Feliciano Lopez all won their opening day matches respectively.
