Sean Sherk Still Really, Really Mad at CSAC

A reduced suspension for steroid use from the California State Athletic Commission is not sitting well with former UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk (32-2-1), who says he'll keep fighting to prove his innocence.
"I'm not happy about it at all," he tells Inside Fighting. "It was a loss. We came in there with so many facts, so much proof including tons of mistakes they made regarding chain of custody, carry over and other things. They test everyone's urine on the same machine. We found contamination in supplements I had taken. I had clean blood work done, I took a polygraph, we just had so much evidence but it fell on deaf ears."
"Regardless of what I came in there with they were not going to listen," he says. "It was a huge loss. I'm looking to pursue this as far as I can. I'm still talking to my lawyer as to exactly what our next move is going to be. I think we can go to court where we can get a real judge, a non biased judge, and present our case to him."
With Sherk stripped of the belt, B.J. Penn (11-4-1) and Joe "Daddy" Stevenson (32-7-0) will fight for the vacant lightweight title, Jan. 19 in Newcastle, England.
