They say New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has turned the corner, that he's learned to avoid the big mistakes. But just how big a part of Super Bowl XLII will his throwing be?

Bet on Super Bowl XLII props!

Oddsmakers have set an over/under on Manning's total pass attempts at 34.5.

Reasons for betting the under:

  • The G-men rely heavily on the running game.
  • Manning threw more than 34.5 times just seven times in 19 games this year.

Reasons for betting the over:

  • The Patriots are so good at running up the score that the Giants might have to abandon the run early.
  • In New York's six losses, Manning threw more than 34.5 times three times. And in the loss to Green Bay, Manning left the game early in the fourth quarter but still got 29 attempts away. In the loss to Dallas, he threw it 34 times. To New England, it was 32.
