There are good ways and bad ways to deal with losing your job. Then, of course, there's the Tatum Bell way.

According to sources within the Detroit Lions organization, Bell didn't react well to the news of his release to make room for the team's new running back, Rudi Johnson. Johnson, formerly of the Cincinnati Bengals, was in a meeting with Lions' brass when Bell took matters into his own hands – and stole Johnson's luggage. From MLive.com:

According to Johnson, Bell took two of Johnson's duffel bags from the Lions locker room on Monday and, when they were returned by another party on Tuesday, almost everything was missing.

"Underwear, socks, credit cards and money. He left my money clip with no money in it," said Johnson, adding that about $200 was missing. "He should've taken the clip, too. It's quite stupid if you ask me."

"All of this happened after he got released and came in and got some stuff out of his locker," he continued. "That's when he scooped the bags up, some real shyster, conniving stuff."

Uhhh…yeah. This one sort of defies explanation. If you want to focus on more football-related stuff, just head on over to the Bodog Sportsbook today for all the latest NFL Football Betting you can get your hands on (clever Tatum Bell pun there).
