Demo crews are on site in Detroit today to take down the outfield walls at old Tiger Stadium.

With the club having moved to Comerica a few years ago, demo crews have now moved in and smashed the historic walls away, giving passers-by a clear view of the interior that stood for decades.

City officials say an Aug. 1 deadline still stands for a nonprofit group to raise enough funds to preserve the field and part of the stadium between first and third base.

Can the Tigers use some sappy memories to keep in the AL Central race? Tonight, the Tigers send Eddie Bonine (-152) to the hill against Cleveland's Paul Byrd (+137) in American League action. Get all your MLB baseball betting in the Bodog Sportsbook today!
