Tiger Woods spoke to the media today at Augusta National a couple of days before the 2008 Masters tees off on Thursday. The big question for the world's No. 1 was whether or not he could win all four majors this year, aka the Grand Slam.

Woods won the U.S. Open, the British Open and PGA in 2000 and the Masters in 2001, but nobody in the modern era has triumphed in all four majors in the same year.

"I've done it before – I've won all four in a row," he said. "I think I'm the only guy who has done that – modern configuration.

"Majority of my career, I think this is my 12th or 13th season out here and nine of those years I've won five or more tournaments, so just got to win the right four. That's what it boils down to."

But Woods knows he's got plenty of competition in the 2008 Masters field.

"I think most of the top guys are playing well this year," he said.

"I'm thinking of Vijay (Singh), Phil (Mickelson), Goose (Retief Goosen) is starting to play better. Ernie (Els) is playing better, Jim (Furyk) is starting to turn it around a little bit and Adam (Scott) is playing well – a lot of guys are playing well this year."

Woods is currently getting 1/1 odds to win the Masters.
