Any sports handicapper would love to see these 10 gifts under the tree.
- A subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket, and/or similar premium cable packages for other sports.
- A copy of Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
- A big flat-panel computer monitor. Or, for the budget-conscious, an ergonomic mouse.
- A genuine Patrick Sharp Chicago Blackhawks sweater.
- Dinner for two at a fine sushi restaurant. Fish is brain food.
- A fancy-schmancy black leather wallet – ideally with some money in it.
- A proper baseball glove, football, basketball or anything that will actually get used.
- An mp3 player. Music is also brain food, whether it’s Mozart or The Mars Volta.
- James Bond movies. Every handicapper wants to be James Bond (or Honey Rider).
- Tickets to the Super Bowl!
